Job Purpose
Functional Analysts play a key role in analyzing business processes, eliciting and documenting functional requirements, and supporting the design and delivery of platform-based solutions that align with business objectives
In this role you will get to
- Analyze and document new and existing business processes to validate a solution that supports project objective(s);
- Develop and manage detailed business and functional/non-functional requirements
- Document and maintain Product Backlog, User Stories
- Provide platform-based recommendations for site enhancements
- Translate business needs into detailed use cases to support QA and UX/UI design efforts
- Collaborate proactively with Developers, QA, Designers, and Clients to ensure solution alignment
- Document specification to illustrate UX/UI interactions
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops and stakeholder interviews to elicit and refine requirements
- Manage business-related issues and action item resolution
- Develop process modeling to illustrate the end state solution
- Manage and support UAT planning, execution, and training documentation
- Ensure ethical and responsible usage of Generative AI tools across tasks.
Your skills and qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as a Functional Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar IT role
- 2+ years experience with e-commerce platforms
- Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile, Waterfall)
- Demonstrated experience communicating with both technical teams and business stakeholders
- Experience working with international clients (US, UK, EU)
- Strong written and spoken English skills (Upper-Intermediate level or higher).
Good to have
- Salesforce experience a strong plus
- Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Shopify, or Composable a strong plus
- Agile (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, LeSS, Spotify model, XP, BDD, TDD, FDD, Lean)
- Waterfall.
