Context
* Part of the product team, together with Product (Marketing) Manager and the Product Development Manager. Challenges senior stakeholders independently.
* Acts as a ‘quartermaster’/ ‘architect’ developing processes and ways of working and shaping the organization in a new environment to enable effective and efficient (system) design development.
* Independently manages the successful passing of all decisions (e.g. 4OC’s, KD’s) on product level. Contributes to the content of all KD decision material (e.g. 4OC’s, KD’s) on product as well as Product Group/Program level.

Requirements
* Academic degree in technical domain
* Broad and deep work experience in engineering field
* Is an expert in application and review the System Engineering methodology, processes and ways of working
* Proven track record in being knowledgeable in at least three ASML system modules (SF).
ResponsibilitiesDelivery Management
Ensure System Engineering deliverables are timely met with high quality. Works independently.
Performance specification
Come to agreement with (marketing) stakeholders on the required product performance and define the relevant product specifications for all business drivers (e.g. imaging, overlay, productivity, industrialization, etc.) to achieve that performance. Capture the outcome in the System Performance Specifications (SPS).
System Design
Define the global system concept and architecture that will deliver the SPS and define decomposition in various sub systems and their interfacing specifications as well as budgets per business driver balancing consistency and overall design integrity. Capture the outcome in the System Design Specification (SDS).
System Integration
Drive the system integration to validate that the system concept and architecture are met by providing integration logic, setting priorities, managing interdependencies and troubleshoot in case of issues.
System Verification
Verify the System Performance Specifications are met after System Integration on the basis of the Test Performance Specification (TPS) and Test Assessment Report (TAR) (Alpha Test).
Validation & Escalation Management
Verify if product is ready in terms of performance, manufacturability & serviceability (Maturity TAR). Is able to take the technical lead to resolve escalations on (X) BL level (“stand-in for Product Group/ Program SE”)
Roadmaping
Shape and drive the technology studies & product roadmaps.
People Leadership
Actively manage and motivate a team to contribute to the positive team dynamics. Is recognized as a role model within the team. Is able to replace the Product Group / program SE. Coach and guide junior colleagues (up to level -1).
Stakeholder Management
Independently manage stakeholders on senior management level across ASML or externally.
The current base annual salary range for this role is currently:
$202,125-336,875
Pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.
