Fullstack Software Engineer (x/f/m) - Prevoyance Business

We build the system that defines what insurance coverage our members get — across Health and Life & Disability (Prévoyance) — with a high level of customization.

• We equip Sales (and our self‑serve flows) to craft coverage, price it, and generate contracts in one go.

• We manage contract lifecycles over time, keeping them legally up to date, aligned with responsible consumption best practices, and economically sound (loss ratio / margin).

• Our offers are a foundational building block: Alan’s claims engine, billing system, and many other parts of the stack rely on them to deliver a pristine experience to members.

A major strategic lever right now is internalizing Prévoyance risk — expected to improve margin and ease market penetration.

• Contract & Service Stack (multi‑country, multi‑product): one system powering coverage + contracts across 4 countries (and growing) and across Insurance + adjacent healthcare products.

• AI‑assisted Acquisition Engine: tools that let Sales teams customize coverage, compute pricing, and produce contracts in real time — faster quotes, fewer handoffs, better conversion.

• Automated Renewal & Portfolio Control: systems that review and adjust coverage annually across the portfolio, incorporating legal changes, consumption trends, and macroeconomic shifts.

• Internalized Prévoyance platform: the backbone to price, underwrite, and scale internalized Life & Disability products.

You'll work closely with insurance experts, business specialist, sales teams, and collaborate with other eng teams across Alan. We're the bridge between complex regulations and simple user experiences.

• Direct Impact: Your decisions affect Alan’s scaling, growth, profitability and ability to provide easy access to healthcare to more and more people.

• Complex Problems: Modelling a complex world in a simple stack, real-time pricing, scale challenges

• Ownership & Growth: Influence product direction, mentor other engineers, and lead technical initiatives that shape the future of healthcare access

Python/Flask, React, PostgreSQL in a monorepo. We deploy daily and believe in distributed ownership - you build it, you own it.

Technical Requirements:

• 3+ years building scalable backend systems

• Experience with high-traffic applications that real users depend on
