As a Software Engineer in our Content Creation team, you will help to build the article catalog for all Zalando shops in all countries. We transform items from the analog world into the digital one - in a quality that clearly separates Zalando from other platforms - with tools having the potential to shape the future in this field.

Build the core content creation system in a RESTful microservice architecture

With your team, you'll work together in the entire software development lifecycle - from the requirements the definition of the target architecture and development up until the operation on AWS

Grow and define your career while solving something that matters.

Collaborate on department-wide projects with other delivery teams and our business unit
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
-
You have 4+ years of hands-on experience in frontend development.
-
You are highly versed with frontend technologies like JavaScript / NodeJS, ReactJS, CSS with state-of-the-art frontend frameworks and their ecosystem.

You care about user experience and you know how to build user-friendly, performant, and reliable web applications.

You have experience in designing APIs, distributed systems, and microservices running on cloud architectures/platforms (preferably AWS).

Existing experience and open to work with Java, Spring, GoLang and/or Adobe UXP is a plus.

You have a strong sense of reliability, responsibility, and ownership. Entrepreneurial & analytical thinking add to your excellent communication skills and willingness to share knowledge.

You have experience in all parts of the software development life-cycle, from understanding the requirements to software development, build, test, deployment and operations

Experience with SQL database
