Responsibilities:
- Design, build, optimize, and maintain CaptivateIQ's data and core platform functionality
- Work across our full product stack to develop and improve product features
- Participate in the product development process from start to finish, from scoping projects to measuring their success and iterating based on feedback
- Maintain high engineering, quality, and security standards, and continuously improve our codebases and processes
- Work with engineers across the company to develop and iterate at scale
- We are expanding Workflow Services' capacity to meet growing adoption, reliability, and enterprise-scale automation needs.
- The team is investing in execution correctness, retries, back pressure, and cost efficiency.
- They are also enhancing developer experience through SDKs, tooling, and templates to accelerate both internal and external workflow development
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in a software engineering role
- Expertise or significant experience with the core tech stack components like Typescript, React, Django, and Python, with a strong focus on the frontend (80/20 split). Familiarity with React Flow, MUI, Celery, PostgreSQL, and AWS S3 is also part of the stack.
- Demonstrated a strong sense of ownership and a desire to build things effectively.
- Ability to challenge the status quo backed by thorough research and demonstration (PoCs, MVPs, tech specs, etc).
- Skill in persuading other engineers and product managers, and building consensus.
- Ability to influence through code and implementation.

- Capability to remove and prevent anti-patterns in implementation.
