We are currently looking for a skilled & passionate Fullstack Engineer (m/f/d) to become part of our team onsite in Hamburg or Berlin. You will build reliable backend services and intuitive user interfaces, ensure smooth integrations through well-structured APIs, and contribute to high-quality architectural decisions. In this role, you will combine hands-on coding with problem-solving, helping shape SCAYLE Payments’ products to deliver secure and seamless e-commerce payment experiences.
Job DescriptionWhat you will do
- Build high-traffic web applications with PHP (Symfony) & JavaScript / TypeScript
- Build internal & external RESTful API as well as Background Jobs in a high-scaling architecture
- Engage in decisions ranging from Design to application architecture together with the Lead Engineer and explore new technologies
- Work with agile processes that are adapted to the team’s needs
- Work with continuous Deployments (Gitlab Pipelines, AWS Elastic Container Service) and monitor applications with industry-standard tools (Datadog)
Who you are
- Solid coding skills in PHP 8 (Symfony) (3-5 years of experience)
- Solid coding skills in Typescript and Javascript
- Solid knowledge of the Vue 3 Framework
- Solid background in building complex and beautiful products which provide an excellent user experience
- Good technical understanding of RESTful API’s
- Experience working with AWS, Git, RDBMS,
- Passionate about writing well-structured, efficient, and maintainable code, actively keeping the quality of the code base in check
- Ready to work in an English-speaking environment

- Experience in Tailwind CSS
- Experience in creating Integration tests
