Redis is looking for a dynamic Full-Stack Team Leader to spearhead the Redis Insight team. Redis Insight is a powerful tool for inspecting and modifying Redis database instances. As a Full-Stack Team Leader, you will shape the future of our UI efforts, create exceptional experiences for our customers, support databases used by millions, and provide solutions for some of the world’s largest companies.
Who We’re Looking For
We are looking for a strong, hands-on technical leader with experience in medium to large-scale web applications. You should be passionate about technology and team management, eager to learn, and driven to deliver impactful solutions. Your goal will be to make a significant difference in both our product and the growth of our team members.
What you will do:
- Lead the Redis Insight Team: Plan, design, and deliver core features of the product.
- Strategic Contribution: Participate in defining the technological direction of the team and the product.
- Team Development: Build, lead, empower, grow, and mentor a high-performing team and individual contributors.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Redis architects, product managers, designers, and other R&D teams to define, plan, and design the product.
- Project Ownership: Take full ownership and accountability for team projects, from design to deployment and support.
What will you need to have?
- Team Management Experience: At least 2 years of managing software development teams.
- Full-Stack Development: Minimum of 3 years of experience with both frontend and backend frameworks.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of production systems and web product architecture.
- Hands-on Experience: Proficient with React, TypeScript, Node.js (or most of them).
- Project Leadership: Proven track record in leading the design and implementation of complex and scalable software.
- Collaboration Skills: Ability to manage interfaces and collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
- High Standards: Maintain high personal and team ethics and morale.
- Passion for Impact: A keen appetite for making a positive difference.
Extra great if you have:
- Educational Background: B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Linux Development: Experience developing on Linux.
- Distributed Systems: Experience with developing distributed systems.
- NoSQL Databases: Experience with NoSQL databases, especially Redis.
