Job OverviewWe are looking for a highly skilled and hands-on Backend Team Lead to guide and mentor a team of experienced developers. In this role, you will drive the technical vision, foster a culture of innovation, and ensure the successful delivery of key projects. You will play a critical role in shaping our product’s foundation by designing and developing core microservices, all while actively coding and providing leadership to your team.
What You’ll Do- Lead and mentor a team of senior engineers, fostering collaboration and technical excellence.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership while actively contributing to development tasks.
- Guide teams through code reviews, pair programming, and best practices.
- Take ownership of services and features, working in an agile environment to deliver high-quality solutions.
- As part of this team, you’ll take a key role in refactoring systems to build more robust, scalable, and streamlined services. This involves deep infrastructure work and modern service architecture.
- Design and build core micro-services, laying the foundation for our product and internal platforms.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business goals.
- Identify and resolve technical challenges to maintain project efficiency.
- Design and build the core microservices that serve as the foundation of our product and internal platforms.
- Contribute to product vision and drive its successful execution.
- Experience as a team lead in a SaaS company
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with Node.js, including software design.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience working databases, particularly MongoDB.
- Experience working with microservices architecture
- Independent but knows how to be professionally dominant in a team
