Full-stack Software Engineer

We’re looking for a Full-stack Software Engineer to join our Information Systems team at MBPS. In this role, you will play a key, dynamic role in modernizing our customer interactions, helping to integrate analytics, business intelligence and AI into our decisions while providing actionable insights to stakeholders across the business.

Position Responsibilities: 

• Create/Develop applications supporting US operations

• Provide application support and Assist the US operations

• Adoption of US segment code scanning capabilities and of the DevSecOps pipeline

• Develop or acquire targeted training for development teams in secure coding and other security practices

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or any related course

• Engineering platforms and Business teams

• At least 2 years of experience and proficient with .net, C#, nodes js, react, java, javascript, Angular JS, MS bot framework. Microsoft Azure

• Ability to manage, prioritize multiple work streams in a time sensitive environment

• Strategic thinker focused on digital enhancements, AI, machine learning, and the customer

• Amenable to work UP Ayala Technohub (Quezon City)

• Amenable to work on a hybrid set-up (3x a week onsite)

• Amenable to work in any shift schedule assigned (night shift; but flexible depending on business need)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Effective English verbal and written communication skills. Should be able to adapt communication style to suit different audiences

• Can translate a more complex technical problem into business terms

• Strong application development/programming skills

• Solution design mindset - Ability to constructively challenge business requirements, technical requirements and any other direction that is received, to ensure we are building the BEST solution

• Understanding of supervised/unsupervised learning, NLP, OCR, and transformer models (e.g., BERT, LayoutLM).

• Experience with frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, or Hugging Face Transformers.

• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking. Ability to work in cross-functional teams (developers, data scientists, business analysts).

• Work well independently as well as in a team environment as situation dictates
