What You’ll Do
- Backend API Development: Build and maintain scalable backend APIs using Node.js and NestJS
- Data Pipeline Design: Design data pipelines and real-time features using Kafka and MQTT
- Frontend Development: Develop frontend components using Vue.js
- Infrastructure & Deployment: Ensure quality with Docker, and Terraform deployments on AWS ECS
- End-to-end Ownership: Own features end-to-end with close collaboration across teams

- Full-Stack Feature Development: Building product features across backend, frontend, and real-time messaging systems
- Collaborative Problem Solving: Working with domain experts to shape telemetry insights into user-facing tools
- Platform Contribution: Contributing to the shared platform layer for all internal AI and data systems

Example Experience
- Full-Stack Engineering Background: 5+ years in full-stack development (Node.js, NestJS, Vue.js)
- Streaming Protocols: Experience with MQTT, Kafka, or similar streaming protocols
- Cloud & DevOps Skills: Strong cloud infrastructure knowledge (Docker, Terraform, AWS ECS)
Preferred Qualifications
- Domain-Experience: Experience with telemetry data, carbon tracking, or energy systems
- Startup Agility: Startup experience or a desire to thrive in a fast-paced environment
