Full Stack Software Engineer

Summary:

A Software Engineer is a growing member of our development team. They are expected to be proactive and contribute to writing high-quality code that adheres to established best practices. This role is a great opportunity to showcase your initiative by proposing solutions and collaborating with the team to achieve project goals. As you continue to develop your technical expertise, you'll actively participate in projects, seeking opportunities to learn and grow your skills. In this role, you'll also begin to contribute to the development process by participating in code reviews and offering guidance to junior engineers.

Responsibilities:

• Help execute the engineering deliverables, under limited or some guidance & supervision.  
• Adhere to continuous improvement in software development practices and processes.
• Work closely with senior engineering resources and management to remove technical roadblocks, and participate in code reviews with more senior engineers
• Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Ensure high-quality code and adherence to engineering best practices.
• Ensure compliance with security regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as product management, design, and operations, to ensure successful delivery of the product.
• Participate and potentially drive cross-functional initiatives and foster strong relationships to optimize collaboration and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a technical resource, ideally in a start-up or fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of software architecture, technology stack development and API-driven systems
• Programming abilities with full stack experience covering front-end, back-end, database, APIs etc.
• Experience being part of high-performing engineering teams.
• Excellent communication both written and verbal.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and rapidly changing environment.
• Experience in Agile software development methodologies
