The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Software Engineer with a strong emphasis on back-end development to join our team. Being a member of a small team means you'll have many responsibilities and own multiple projects. Ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced, creative and collaborative environment.

Plus, since you would be joining us early in our journey, you will be intimately involved in every aspect of the product with a significant say when it comes to technical decisions. You'll own projects from concept to completion and be working alongside talented software engineers in executing your projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain back-end components of web applications using relevant technologies, e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, etc.
• Design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient APIs.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Optimize application performance and ensure high availability and responsiveness.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, following best practices and industry standards.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Work closely with designers, and other stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in software development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer, with a strong focus on back-end development.
• Proficiency in back-end technologies, e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, etc.
• Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Familiarity with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL) and data modeling.
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Bonus: Experience with Apollo framework
• Bonus: Experience in fintech is highly valuable.
