Our client is a healthcare technology company.
The role
Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Build and ship new user-facing features across web and mobile applications and the backend services behind them. Work closely with product, clinical and commercial colleagues, and take real ownership of what gets built.
What you'll do
- Develop user-facing features for web and mobile applications that drive engagement and retention.
- Scale backend infrastructure with an emphasis on reliability and data integrity.
- Improve internal tools used by clinicians and add AI-assisted capabilities that make their work more efficient.
- Build dependable integrations with large enterprise partners, including medical record systems, claims data and health information exchange records.
- Collaborate with product, clinical and commercial teams and help shape how the engineering organization grows.
Requirements
What we're looking for
- Experience shipping brand-new products or features in production, not only maintaining existing ones.
- A track record of launching products from an empty slate, whether at a young company or within a fresh initiative at a larger one.
- Experience on a consumer-facing product, building from scratch for end users rather than internal tools.
- A strong product mindset and a habit of thinking about the end user.
- Proficiency with React, Node.js, TypeScript or JavaScript, and Postgres, plus cloud infrastructure experience.
- A strong academic background in computer science and/or experience at standout companies.
- Ability to explain complex technical ideas and personal impact clearly.
- A collaborative, low-ego working style and motivation from a shared mission.
- Based in the New York City area and able to work a hybrid schedule.
Bonus points
- Experience with additional languages or frameworks such as Python.

- Base salary: USD 190,000 to 225,000 per year
