Our client is a fast-growing software company.
The role
Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Own the design, build and release of features on a live software product, working closely with technical leadership. Most of the time goes to hands-on development, with the remainder spent alongside users to gather input and support deployment. This is an early, high-ownership position with wide scope.
What you'll do
- Build and ship new full-stack features from zero to one on a production application.
- Take end-to-end ownership of new product lines, from initial scoping through rollout and measuring results.
- Visit customer sites to train users, collect input and help decide what to build next.
- Tackle demanding infrastructure challenges, including features that work without connectivity, low-latency data pipelines and highly configurable software.
- Define systems and processes as the company grows, without relying on assigned tickets or a fixed playbook.
Requirements
What we're looking for
- At least 3 years of professional full-stack development, delivering production software at a fast pace.
- A track record of engaging directly with the people who use your software, beyond internal stakeholders.
- Daily use of AI coding assistants as a central part of how you work.
- Clear, confident communication with non-technical audiences.
- Self-direction and comfort working through ambiguity without detailed instructions.
- Authorization to work in the US.
- Willingness to work in person in the office and travel to customer sites when needed.
Bonus points
- Earlier experience as an early engineer or in a customer-embedded engineering role at a young company.
- Past or future founder.
- Personal or family background in the skilled trades.
- Mobile development experience.
- A strong interest in UI and UX.

- Base salary: USD 150,000 to 250,000 per year
