Fincons is looking for a Full-stack Software Engineer – Advanced
TASKS:
- Full-stack web application development (front-end & back-end)
- Design of responsive, user-friendly web interfaces and interactions
- Development of APIs and server-side business logic
- Implementation of security best practices, authentication, and data protection
- Design and delivery of scalable, high-performance software solutions
- Code maintenance, optimization, troubleshooting, and testing (unit/integration)
- Cloud deployment and application management using CI/CD and containerization
- Technical documentation and cross-functional collaboration to ensure seamless system integration and user satisfaction
REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong experience with front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) and frameworks such as Angular, React, and Vue.
- Back-end development expertise with Java, Node.js, PHP, including Spring Boot and REST APIs.
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL, Oracle, and MongoDB databases.
- Experience with Git-based development workflows and version control.
- Familiarity with AWS/Azure cloud environments and application deployment.
- Experience in designing and securing RESTful APIs and web services.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and modern DevOps practices.
- Understanding of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, and application security principles.
- Experience with IT systems supporting transport fuel traceability.
SKILLS:
- Capacity to quickly ramp-up on new projects and competence in collaborating within teams.
- Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings, ease of communication.
- Ability in applying security and cloud best practices.
- Proficiency in integrating front/back-end builds into CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to understand, speak and write English.
- Ability to work in a team as well as autonomously.

Language knowledge: English B2+
Office: Brussels (Belgium), Near-site service provision with possible onsite presence as deemed necessary during the execution of specific contract.
