About the TeamYou will join Capco's financial services consulting team and work with business leaders, technology teams and external partners on a major cards program. The assignment involves close collaboration across an international banking group, bringing together stakeholders with different priorities to deliver a coordinated program.
The RoleWe are looking for an experienced Program Manager to lead the business delivery of a complex cards program. You will take ownership of program planning, governance and delivery, ensuring that objectives, resources, budgets and dependencies remain aligned.
You will work closely with senior stakeholders, group-level teams and an external service provider. The role calls for someone who can combine a strategic view with disciplined execution, make informed decisions and maintain momentum across multiple projects and teams.
This is a hybrid role based in Brussels, with regular travel to Paris for program and stakeholder meetings.
What You Will Do- Develop and maintain integrated program plans, aligning milestones, dependencies and delivery priorities across workstreams.
- Establish and manage program governance, including decision-making, escalation and reporting processes.
- Prepare and lead program boards and steering committees, presenting progress, risks and decisions clearly.
- Manage relationships with business and IT stakeholders, international group teams and external suppliers.
- Monitor delivery against scope, timelines and objectives, and coordinate actions to address delays or changing priorities.
- Identify and manage risks, issues and cross-project dependencies.
- Coordinate capacity planning and resource allocation across the program.
- Manage program budgets and business cases, monitoring financial performance and supporting investment decisions.
- Lead and motivate contributors, maintaining clear accountability and a shared focus on outcomes.
- At least 10 years of relevant professional experience, including proven responsibility for complex projects or programs involving multiple workstreams.
- A strong understanding of banking operations and the ability to connect business objectives with technology delivery.
- Experience working across business and IT teams, with familiarity with enterprise IT systems and workflow processes.
- Strong knowledge of project and program management methodologies, such as Agile, PRINCE2 or PMBOK, and relevant planning and reporting tools such as Clarity or MS Project.
- Experience managing governance, senior stakeholders, budgets, resources, risks and delivery dependencies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the diplomacy and confidence to align different interests and drive decisions.
- A structured, proactive and results-oriented approach, combined with strategic thinking, commercial awareness and a focus on customer outcomes.
- A master's degree or equivalent professional experience.
Experience in the cards business, including card issuing or processing systems, is a strong advantage. Previous work with BNP Paribas or eWL, or on initiatives that centralize activities onto shared platforms within an international group, is also valuable.
Languages- Strong written and spoken English, plus professional proficiency in either French or Dutch, is required.
- Knowledge of both French and Dutch is an advantage.
