Senior Full-Stack Engineer – Python & Angular
We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer with strong Python expertise and hands-on Angular experience. This is a backend-heavy role focused on building scalable APIs and applications, with additional ownership of the UI layer.
Must-Haves- 6+ years of software engineering experience
- Strong hands-on expertise in Python
- Experience with Django, FastAPI, or Flask
- Strong experience building REST APIs and microservices
- Hands-on experience with Angular and TypeScript
- Strong knowledge of relational databases, particularly MS SQL Server and Oracle
- Experience with automated testing and CI/CD
- Solid understanding of system design, security, and performance
- Strong communication, ownership, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with asynchronous Python, Celery, or message queues
- Experience with RxJS, Angular Material, or NgRx
- Familiarity with Redis, Elasticsearch, or MongoDB
- Experience with event-driven architectures
- Experience mentoring engineers or leading technical initiatives
Skills Required
- 5+ years experience with Python and Apache Spark (PySpark) including tuning partitioning, shuffling, caching
- Hands-on experience with Data Federation tools (Starburst Enterprise, Trino/Presto, or Dremio)
- Proven experience with Lakehouse table formats (Delta Lake, Apache Iceberg, or Hudi)
- Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS EMR/S3/Glue, Azure Databricks/ADLS, or GCP)
- Expert-level SQL skills for complex analytical queries and query plan analysis
- Experience designing Star/Snowflake schemas and Medallion Architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold)
- Experience building scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and distributed data processing
- Performance tuning of Spark jobs and federated SQL queries to manage latency and compute costs
- Implementing governance, fine-grained access control, and data masking across federated data sources
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or Pulumi)
- Familiarity with dbt for data modeling and transformation workflows
- Knowledge of Kubernetes for deploying and scaling Spark/Trino clusters
- Background in Data Mesh or Data Fabric methodologies
