The role
Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Ship complete features from interface work through to server logic, turning loosely defined goals into finished work. The role includes planning your own projects, talking with users, building new products from scratch and refining the user experience. It suits an engineer who has already taken ownership of product outcomes.
What you'll do
- Drive part of the team's quarterly objectives and decide which work will reach them.
- Own product outcomes from start to finish, improving existing software and launching new products from scratch.
- Talk directly with users, ship quickly and refine features based on their feedback.
- Build AI-driven agent features that carry out consequential tasks, including their logic, memory, feedback loops, tooling and user interface.
- Take features from system design through to polished user-facing screens and the services behind them.
- Use AI coding tools to speed up your own work and raise product quality.
Requirements
What we're looking for
- Two to ten years of software engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in both user-interface code and backend services, with meaningful feature delivery in each.
- A history of owning product outcomes, such as taking something from nothing to launch or shaping features with customers.
- Good product sense, with an interest in studying other products, critiquing interfaces and choosing the right problems.
- A self-driven, high-ownership mindset and comfort with an intense, in-person pace.
Bonus points
- Prior work shipping AI-powered autonomous tools to real users, or building software that handles large data volumes.
- Experience with a columnar analytics database.
- Background at a large technology company with clear ownership and full-stack work.

- Base salary: USD 180,000 to 240,000 per year
