Job Description

As a .NET Developer you will join our Global Technology team providing engineering for our Xplor Field Services division — the team that provides the support and expertise to HVAC and Plumbing Trades. We build the platforms they need to support their customers and keep life moving.

You’ll help us enhance our industry-leading platform used by our customer base to run their businesses. Some of the other responsibilities you’ll have:

  • Contribute to the development and execution of a technology roadmap to support our departmental strategy and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering leadership in defining technical strategy and in designing solutions to address current and future business requirements and infrastructure needs.
  • Consult with development and project teams to provide technical solutions for complex issues.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to junior engineers on the team.
  • Ensure technical design aligns with the vision and future state of existing systems. 
  • Contribute to the vision and direction for the future of our products and services.
  • Review existing architectural roadmaps and propose solutions for existing technical debt and development bottlenecks.
  • Take a proactive approach to drive innovation and creative solutions through cutting-edge technologies and implementation of best practice tools, processes and initiatives.
  • Proficient in architecting and designing cloud-based solutions.

Qualifications

  • 5 to 8 years of web application development experience
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in Azure Cloud Computing
  • 5 years of experience in Azure DevOps
  • Hands on experience with multiple programming languages such C#, SQL Server, ASP.NET, HTML, CSS, one or more front-end Javascript frameworks (ie., Vue JS, Angular, React).
  • Strong Experience with database technologies such as SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
  • Strong understanding of software design patterns and principles.
  • Proficient in concepts such as CI/CD and API Management.
  • Strong experience in building Rest/JSON based Web Services in .NET.
  • Hands-on experience with building applications in Azure.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proactive, self-motivated learner with a strong drive to achieve personal goals.
  • Comfortable working in an Agile environment with a high degree of ownership.
  • Progressive experience in providing technical leadership to a software engineering team.

The average base salary pay range for this role is between $104,000$-$150,000 USD
