As Level ll Engineer you’ll play a key role in developing, enhancing, and maintaining innovative solutions that elevate the customer experience. You’ll implement complex software based on project requirements, technical designs, and industry best practices. You’ll also contribute to design reviews, collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve real-world client challenges, and help define the scope and direction of new initiatives.
What you’ll do:
- Develop innovative consumer-facing API’s and services
- Create and maintain consumer facing websites
- Collaborate with Machine Learning engineers to leverage the models they are producing
- Collaborate with iOS engineers so they can leverage the APIs you are producing
- Monitor the performance and problems in production applications
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of code in a collaborative and inclusive environment
- Collaborate and own software architecture decisions
- Work with Engineering Managers and Product Owners to prioritize work within an agile development methodology
- Translate requirements into designs and well-architected code backed by automated tests
Why we will love you:
- 2+ years of backend experience with Python
- 1+ years of frontend experience with Vue or equivalent frontend libraries like React or Angular
- Experience with Django, Flask, or equivalent web framework
- Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS
- Experience with AWS, MongoDB, Redis, and Linux
- Strong analytical thinker with experience in best practices and patterns
- Ability to communicate technical requirements both verbal and written
- Able to adapt in a fast-paced technical environment
- Achieve team success through care and respect
- Bachelor’s or higher degree, or the equivalent, in Computer Science or related field. (SeekWell recognizes that knowledge and skills equivalent to those earned in a degree program can also be achieved via nontraditional paths, and welcomes applicants with nontraditional
