Full Stack Engineer - Fintech

Who are you?

You are an outstanding multidisciplinary developer. A highly motivated individual with strong communication skills, who is comfortable in a fast-paced and results oriented start up.

You are expected to be a team player and passionate about technology and problem solving.

Which team will you be joining?

You will be joining our Fintech squad. A strong, high-paced, and growth-oriented team that owns a significant part of Workiz's revenue.

In Workiz, a squad includes the engineering team, a product manager, and a product designer. Squads work in SCRUM methodology.

So, what will you be doing all day?

• Using modern technologies and best practices, develop new and existing features for Workiz's SaaS application
• Contribute to technical discussions and decisions regarding architecture growth and code evaluation
• A fast-paced work environment with a lot of responsibility and independence
• Participate in code reviews as part of an experienced team

Ideally, we’re looking for

• 3+ years as a full-stack web developer, with a good understanding of web application design and architecture
• Highly proficient in JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, and React
• Proven experience in relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Well-experienced with AI tools (Claude, Cursor, Codex, etc.)
• Ability to solve and debug complex issues
• Excellent communications skills
• Experience with Fintech integrations (Stripe, Adyen, ACH payments, consumer financing, etc.)

These would also be nice:

• System design experience
• ֿExeprience with PHP
• Cloud experience, preferably GCP
• NoSQL - Elasticsearch, Redis, MongoDB
