What You'll Be Working On 

As a Marketing Technical Lead, you will play a key role in Bose’s Marketing team within the Digital Experience Train. This role involves collaborating with diverse and talented teams to develop world-class digital solutions that redefine customer engagement. Your leadership will guide innovative campaigns and ensure seamless integrations, setting a new standard for personalized customer experiences.

This position is being offered in a hybrid capacity (remote and onsite in Lisbon, Portugal).

Your Role:

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) solutions.

  • Architect and implement personalized marketing strategies using SFMC modules such as Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio, and Interaction Studio (Personalization).

  • Develop and optimize custom applications leveraging AMPScript, SQL, JavaScript, SSJS, and APIs (REST/SOAP).

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.

  • Mentor junior developers, providing guidance to enhance technical skills and best practices.

  • Integrate SFMC with other CRM platforms, APIs, and web properties for seamless data flow and enhanced customer experiences.

  • Drive innovation in campaign strategies, leveraging advanced automation and dynamic content techniques.

  • Facilitate troubleshooting, incident resolution, and continuous improvement across the platform.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Web Design.

  • Preferred certifications include Salesforce Marketing Cloud Certified Developer and Salesforce Certified Platform Developer 1.

  • 3-6 years of experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform development.

  • 5+ years of enterprise software development experience.

  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AMPScript, SQL, and REST/SOAP APIs.

  • Knowledge of Java, Apex, VisualForce, C++, and SOQL.

  • Understanding of data warehouses, Big Data technologies, and API integrations.

  • Proficiency in DevOps tools and practices, such as GitLab for version control, CI/CD pipelines, and collaborative development workflows.

  • Strong ability to analyze and interpret data.

  • Creative and analytical problem-solving skills.

  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on data accuracy.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong facilitation skills to support efficient decision-making processes.

  • Positive attitude and a team-oriented approach.

  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with the ability to inspire and mentor others.

  • Results-driven mindset with a passion for innovation and excellence.

  • Experience with responsive design and adaptive development principles is a plus.
