Summary & Position Overview
The Full Stack Engineer I is responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining front-end and back-end applications. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, scalable software features that align with documented business requirements and adhere to INSP quality standards. The Full Stack Engineer I collaborates closely with a cross-functional Agile team to build reliable, maintainable solutions that support organizational objectives
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements into end-to-end software solutions leveraging front-end and back-end technologies.
- Develop and maintain scalable user interfaces, APIs, and supporting services.
- Diagnose and resolve issues across the full application stack, including UI, server-side logic, and data layers.
- Participate in peer code reviews to promote best practices, performance, and code maintainability.
- Execute unit testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing for all delivered features.
- Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams through daily stand-ups and bi-weekly sprint planning.
- Support management with project estimation, development planning, and architectural discussions.
- Stay current with emerging frameworks, tools, and industry trends relevant to full stack development.

Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree with a major in Computer Science or commensurate work experience.
Experience
- 2+ years of experience developing database-driven applications using PHP and MySQL.
- 2+ years of experience building responsive, accessible user interfaces using HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Working knowledge of WordPress development, including custom theme creation and CMS integration.
- General understanding of SEO best practices and cross-browser compatibility considerations.

Schedule
Normal workdays are 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday with rotating after-hour technical support.
