Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:

At Jabil, our financial systems developers are true business partners who immerse themselves in the domains they support to develop modern and collaborative solutions to business problems. This position works closely with our Tax and Treasury departments and will be a part of the team that develops and maintains our JavaScript user interface and backend OLAP DB.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Utilize JavaScript to develop dynamic web based front ends and middle ware solutions
Support and design solutions leveraging our IBM Cognos TM1 platforms
Complete specific projects assigned by the Project or Department Manager
Flexible work schedule given potential deadlines
May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy

JOB QUALIFICATIONS/ KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:

An ideal candidate will have a foundation in the following:

JavaScript
AngularJS (or other frameworks i.e. Angular, React, Vue)
SQL

A desire to learn additional technologies (if not already known) that the team utilizes:

Multithreading and Multiprocessing programming concepts
MDX
REST APIs
Docker
VSCode/ GIT

Education & Experience Requirements

Bachelors in MIS, Computer Science, IS, Computer Engineering , or Mathematics is required
2 plus years in work related experience is required
Other degrees with practical programming experience will be considered
Effective communication skills is a must
Comfortable working in a collaborative team-based approach
Interest in data analysis and presentation, preferred
Software development experience, preferred
