About the Job
Catface is looking for a Full Stack Developer to maintain and update our high traffic, responsive e-commerce website. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of front end development, responsive web design, and Shopify Storefront API.
You’ll work closely with our design and merch team to build a seamless, scalable, and visually stunning user experience.
What You'll Do
- Convert Figma designs into responsive, pixel-perfect web pages using Next.js and SCSS
- Build and maintain dynamic features using React (Context API, Hooks) and TypeScript
- Ensure performance, SEO, and accessibility best practices
- Deploy updates via Vercel’s CI/CD workflows
- Troubleshoot and resolve cross-browser and device compatibility issues
What We're Looking For
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; familiarity with popular front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue); understanding of UI/UX principles.
- Knowledge in front end technologies including: Next.js, Context API, React Hooks, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, GraphQL, Apollo, GraphQL Codegen, Headless UI
- Solid understanding of back end technologies including: Shopify Storefront API
- Familiarity with Git, VSCode, Figma, and Shopify
- Understanding of performance optimization, SEO and accessibility
Bonus if You Have
- Understanding of Vercel and BambooHR APIs
