Full Stack Developer

Purpose;

To enhance, modernise, and extend core business applications by refactoring legacy .NET code, improving backend performance and reliability, and developing scalable new capabilities. This role is critical in ensuring our platforms remain best in class, maintainable, and aligned with business growth, regulatory needs, and evolving digital initiatives.

Key Responsibilities;

• Refactor, optimize, and extend existing C# .NET codebases, SQL Objects following clean architecture principles and SOLID design patterns.

• Collaborate with architecture, DevOps, and product teams to design and implement scalable solutions in a modern cloud-first environment.

• Diagnose and resolve performance issues in .NET services and Azure SQL PaaS databases, improving system responsiveness and efficiency.

• Develop, Integrate and maintain RESTful and Stateful APIs and background services supporting enterprise-grade applications.

• Implement and support Azure services including App Services, Azure SQL, Key Vault, Event Grid, Application Insights, and Logic Apps.

• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline integration and environment deployment using Azure DevOps.

• Apply secure coding practices, and support secure authentication/authorization flows (e.g., OAuth2, Azure AD).

Experience & Qualifications;

• Professional experience in enterprise-grade application development using C# and .NET Framework/.NET Core/.NET 6+ essential

• Financial Services experience preferred

• Demonstrated ability to refactor legacy systems for improved performance, reliability, and maintainability using clean architecture and SOLID principles.

• Strong experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs, background services, and integrations within microservices and event-driven architectures.

• Proficient in SQL Server and Azure SQL PaaS, with hands-on experience in query tuning, indexing strategies, and auditing-sensitive data access.

• Solid understanding of application security best practices, including secure coding, authentication/authorization (OAuth2, Azure AD), and secrets management using Azure Key Vault.

• Hands-on experience with Azure PaaS technologies such as App Services, Logic Apps, Event Grid, Service Bus, and Azure Functions.

• Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field preferred.
