Full Stack Developer

ISS STOXX is actively looking for a Full Stack Developer to join our Development Team in Mumbai (Goregaon East) location.

Overview:

The ISS Market Intelligence (MI) business provides critical data, insight, and workflow solutions to global asset managers, insurance companies and distributors. Through its combination of proprietary integrated datasets, in-depth global research and trusted executive engagement, ISS MI delivers solutions that drive strategy and data-driven decision making across a wide range of financial products. The ideal candidate should have a background of React, JAVA, basic SQL and will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications.

Responsibilities:

• Build, enhance, and maintain evolving web applications and APIs. 
• Work on new initiatives and projects. 
• Provide technical support to business users of above systems.
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with global business and technical teams.
• Willingness to learn and work on different technologies and tools.

. Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
• Overall ~1-3 years of experience working as Full Stack Developer.
• Experience working in JAVA, JavaScript, React.
• Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Familiarity with programming languages like python.
• Willingness to learn modern development practices, frameworks, and patterns. 
• Working knowledge of Object-Oriented and/or Functional Programming
• Strong communication skills.
• Self-starter and quick learner.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multi-task and thrive in fast paced, rapidly changing and complex environment.
• Flexible and willing to work in 11/12 to 8/9 pm timings.

Good to have:

• Familiarity with Capital markets and Mutual funds industry/data.
• Experience in NET.
• Maintain a proactive focus on fostering business growth by recommending innovative solutions.
• Basic familiarity with development methods and processes such as Agile Scrum.
