Full Stack Developer (Shopify)

As a Full Stack Developer, you’ll take ownership of developing and maintaining high-performance web applications that integrate seamlessly with a range of internal and external systems / APIs across YETI ANZ digital/eCommerce platforms. You’ll work across the stack, from front-end to back-end, with a focus on performance, scalability and user experience.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning and execution of technical solutions, applying best practice and principles across design and delivery

• Design and develop responsive front-end interfaces and robust back-end APIs

• Integrate web applications with internal systems and third-party services

• Manage multiple web projects from design through to deployment

• Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance across all deliverables to ensure a robust solution 

• Maintain, monitor and secure production systems hosted in cloud environments

• Produce and maintain clear technical documentation and operational procedures

• Share knowledge, mentor and guide team members and contribute to a continuous improvement/innovative culture

• Collaborate cross-functionally across internal and external stakeholders to plan and deliver scalable solutions that meet our business objectives

• Deliver secure and reliable solutions that support business continuity

• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve issues as required

• Support and deliver enhancements across our digital/ecommerce platforms

• Ad hoc projects as required

Qualifications and Attributes:

• At least 5+ years' experience in web development across a variety of project types

• Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, IT, Web Development or a related field

• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React & Typescript 

• Previous experience working with Shopify App Development / CLI will be advantageous

• Strong understanding of design frameworks, build tools and technologies

• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both written and verbal

• Hands-on commitment to getting the job done 

• Passionate on emerging technologies across the digital industry

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and creative environment 

• Attention to detail and self-motivated
