We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer (5+ years) to join our mission-driven engineering team. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on expertise in Node.js, React.js, PostgreSQL, TypeScript, and AWS, with a strong focus on building highly scalable, reliable, and secure applications. Key Responsibilities:Architect, design, and develop scalable full-stack applications supporting space-data and mission-assurance workflows.
Design and implement REST APIs using Node.js with Express, NestJS or Hono.
Build high-quality front-end interfaces using React.js, TypeScript, TanStack Router, TanStack Query, and shadcn.
Contribute to data-heavy UIs using TanStack Table and real-time components for satellite tracking dashboards.
Own database schema design, query optimization, advanced indexing, and migration workflows using PostgreSQL.
Implement secure authentication/authorization (JWT, OAuth2, RBAC).
Build scheduled workflows and integrate with satellite tracking pipelines.
Collaborate closely with product, design, and platform teams to deliver mission-critical features.
Implement CI/CD, Docker-based deployment, and infrastructure-as-code for AWS microservices.
Ensure reliability through observability tools like Grafana, Prometheus, CloudWatch, Sentry, OpenTelemetry.
Write clean, well-tested code using Jest/Vitest/Cypress with emphasis on correctness and performance.
Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks across API, DB, caching layers, and UI rendering.
Maintain strong documentation for APIs, schemas, and internal tools using Swagger/OpenAPI.
Containerize applications using Docker for consistent development, testing, and deployment environments.
5+ years of hands-on full-stack development experience building production-grade systems.
Strong proficiency in building full-stack applications with TypeScript, Node.js, React, and PostgreSQL.
Proficiency with version control (Git) and modern branching strategies.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments.
Strong grasp of software design patterns, SOLID principles, and clean architecture.
Solid understanding of high-volume data access patterns, including query optimization and database schema design.
Experience in building REST APIs and working with OpenAPI specifications.
Hands-on experience with AWS services such as ECS, RDS, S3, CloudFront, IAM, and EC2.
Familiarity with message queues like NATS.io, RabbitMQ, or SQS.
Experience with observability tools and stacks such as Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, and CloudWatch.
Knowledge of web security best practices (OWASP Top 10, auth flows, JWT/OAuth2).
Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, AWS CDK, CloudFormation).
