The following position is to join our RTX Process and Systems Transformation PST Team:
RTX has an opening for a Fullstack Developer - S4 HANA (Manager, Information Workplace Services) position.
XetaCloud is the greenfield evolution of the cloud services available from the combined companies. It leverages best-of-breed automation and capabilities, approved and extensible architectures, and integration with go-forward RTX core services to enable secure multi-cloud hosting across the combined RTX enterprise. The PST Infrastructure team delivers cloud computing services from Microsoft Azure, and select third-party providers that help the overall PST program realize the potential of cloud computing in terms of cost-savings, agility, and productivity — while allowing them to develop secure, compliant applications that deliver value to your customers.
The PST full stack developer role will be an innovative contributor to the XetaCloud Portal Scrum AGILE team as well as the PST Infrastructure Scrum Agile team. The Developer will operate functionally as a developer and code reviewer to support the PST program , but not limited to, the integration of the PST automation tools with the RTX’s XetaCloud Portal environment and integration of the PST Service Now forms with XetaCloud Portal.
This role also requires strong technical ownership including the ability to design system architectures, define implementation approaches, and execute with accountability.
You will collaborate with the PST Infrastructure team, the XetaCloud Portal team, UX, Marketing/Communications and developer/engineering roles in the Cloud COE to improve the user experience and simplify the users ‘from request to deliver’ journey. Your work will support new users, core users, and power users associated to the PST program.
You will drive positive change through experimental design and uncover opportunities to improve expand the XetaCloud portal for the PST program.
What You Will Do:
Integrate data from various back-end services and databases and design/integrate RESTful APIs to enable creation of large-scale modular applications and individual page designs in standards-compliant HTML and CSS.
Create large-scale modular applications and individual page designs in standards-compliant HTML and CSS, implement functionality in JavaScript (and JavaScript-based frameworks/libraries).
Collaborate with product and design team to define information architecture, advocating web interaction design best practices with a focus on consistency and usability.
Demonstrate quality craftsmanship defined by performance, accessibility, maintainability, and aesthetic refinement on large-scale projects.
Work with back-end developers to create the best possible user experience and reduce the latency of page loads.
Solve complex problems in simple yet elegant ways.
Interact with UX team and business users to optimize portal experience.
Test and maintain new/existing portal functionality and deliver high quality software
Learn and apply Agile Scrum practices; Assist Scrum master in improving backlogs
Interface to RTX cloud users on future functionality, enhancements, and quality
Ultimately you will make the Cloud Enablement experience better by finely crafting apps and tools that accelerate user adoption and simplify engagement with cloud operational processes delivering simplification, transparency, and actionable insights to users.

Qualifications You Must Have:
- Minimum of 8+ years experience as a Fullstack Developer and a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics STEM) or related discipline or equivalent combination of related work experience and schooling in lieu of degree.
Passion for helping customers develop scalable applications with rich user experiences
Demonstrated technical excellence in team collaboration with business, development, and infrastructure teams and users.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency in server-side development and optimization of data, including database creation and management and debugging
Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
Create and maintain software documentation
Create and analyze reliable and secure back-end functionality
Experience maintaining, expanding, and scaling web applications
Experience in designing and integrating RESTful APIs
Knowledge of Python and JavaScript
Excellent debugging and optimization skills
Proficient in a broad range of software design approaches and common UX patterns, and skills including cross-browser HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; familiarity with server-side JavaScript and/ or Python; using client-side JavaScript with Vue.js, React, transforming FIGMA designs into code; and creating scalable, high performance JavaScript Web Applications
Agile software development experience
Experience with continuous integration tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
Experience programming applications in a Cloud environment
Ability to travel up to 10%

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
