Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Software Developer to design, develop, and enhance enterprise-grade applications within a complex, mission-critical environment. The role involves working closely with project teams, contributing to system integration planning, and delivering scalable solutions aligned with established standards and best practices.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement enhancements to enterprise applications
  • Translate business and functional requirements into working, tested solutions
  • Develop RESTful API services using ASP.NET Web API
  • Support transition to modern development practices, including Agile/Scrum and DevOps tooling
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to team members
  • Conduct analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment of applications
  • Develop programming specifications, prototypes, and user interfaces
  • Perform unit testing, debugging, and issue resolution
  • Provide ongoing application support including break/fix and change management
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and implement system improvements
  • Produce technical documentation, diagrams, and design artifacts (e.g., use cases, class diagrams)
  • Participate in system and integration testing cycles
  • Develop authentication, access control, and system interface components
  • Prepare deployment packages and implementation documentation
  • Ensure knowledge transfer to internal teams through documentation and collaboration
  • Participate in meetings related to enhancements, incidents, and project milestones
  • Ensure compliance with organizational standards, policies, and best practices

Qualifications

Mandatory Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience designing and developing enterprise-level applications
  • Strong expertise with:
    • ASP.NET (Web API / REST API)
    • .NET Framework (including 4.8.1)
    • C#.NET
    • VB.NET
    • SQL
    • JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js and Angular

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Experience with Windows environments (Windows 10, Windows Server 2016+)
  • Familiarity with API design/documentation tools (e.g., Swagger, Postman)
  • Experience with .NET Core / .NET 5+
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Visual Studio
    • Azure DevOps Services / Team Foundation Server
    • MS SQL Server
    • Web Services and middleware technologies
  • Experience with frameworks and tools such as:
    • Windows Communication Foundation (WCF)
    • Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF)
    • Entity Framework
    • Enterprise Library
  • Strong experience in:
    • Structured development methodologies (Agile & Waterfall)
    • Application performance tuning and troubleshooting
    • Database technologies and data integration
    • Technical documentation and architecture design

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written)
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Proven leadership and mentorship experience
  • Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines
