The Role: As a Software Engineer, you will collaborate with a small, tight-knit team of cutting-edge coding thought leaders who set the strategy for our customer interface in an engaging way. Self-starters are encouraged to explore, fail fast, and build new things, and will be given opportunities to develop and grow within the company.
What you will do:
- Drive development efforts for projects that impact the evolution of our business.
- Be a senior influencer of a cross-functional team that experiments, iterates, and delivers on new product objectives.
- Mentor and lead best practices in the development of user experiences.
- Showcase your fluency in Node.js, which is at the forefront of what we use to build our customer-facing applications.
- Leverage relationships and influence Product and engineering team members on a modern technology stack grounded in Node.js and React.
- Be a lead contributor to optimize our products for cross-device performance, including mobile and desktop.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of JavaScript experience and experience working on consumer-facing web projects.
- Fluency in one or more client-side JavaScript frameworks or libraries (React, Angular, WebPack).
- Proven expertise with Node.js, and libraries like Express.js.
- Confident ability and experience to develop and consume APIs.
- Proficiency with functional programming.

- Experience with WebAssembly
