Since its spin-off in September 2025 AUMOVIO continues the business of the former Continental group sector Automotive as an independent company. The technology and electronics company offers a wide-ranging portfolio that makes mobility safe, exciting, connected, and autonomous. This includes sensor solutions, displays, braking and comfort systems as well as comprehensive expertise in software, architecture platforms, and assistance systems for software-defined vehicles. In the fiscal year 2024 the business areas, which now belong to AUMOVIO, generated sales of 19.6 billion Euro. The company is headquartered in Frankfurt, Germany and has about 87.000 employees in more than 100 locations worldwide.
Job DescriptionAs part of the data platforms team, we are also building Applications on top of 1ADP - the One AUMOVIO Data Platform: a self-service, enterprise-grade cloud data platform that transforms raw data from across the organization into trusted, reusable data products. While 1ADP provides the backbone - built on Databricks and AWS - we are also responsible for two Big Data applications that are rolled out worldwide on all our production lines.
As a Full Stack Developer within the IT department, you will design and build end-to-end application features across the full web stack. You'll work in a modern, cloud-native environment with a strong emphasis on serverless architecture, developer experience, and clean, maintainable code. We work in Scrum - with regular sprints, reviews, and retrospectives - so you'll always know what you're shipping and why.
What You'll Work On:
- Frontend Development — Build responsive, accessible web UIs using Angular and/or Vue.js. Write clean HTML and CSS that works across devices and screen sizes. Collaborate with UX/design on component libraries and user flows.
- Backend & API Development — Implement serverless backend logic on AWS using the Serverless Framework. Design and expose REST APIs and GraphQL endpoints in TypeScript.
- Cloud Infrastructure — Define and manage AWS resources with AWS CDK. Contribute to infrastructure-as-code patterns shared across the team.
- CI/CD & Deployments — Own deployment pipelines using GitHub Actions. Ensure reliable, automated delivery from feature branch to production.
- 1ADP Integration — Integrate applications with 1ADP services — including data APIs, Unity Catalog datasets, and AI/ML endpoints — to surface data products in user-facing tools.
- Data & AI Applications — Contribute to a growing portfolio of applications ranging from self-service data portals and observability dashboards to AI-assisted workflows and LLM-powered features.
- Code Quality & Collaboration — Participate in code reviews, write unit and integration tests, maintain technical documentation, and uphold agreed engineering standards.
What Makes This Role Unique
- Real-world impact — your applications will be used by data teams and business users across AUMOVIO every day.
- Full-stack ownership — from GraphQL schema to responsive UI to CDK infrastructure, you ship the whole thing.
- Data and AI at scale — build on top of one of the most ambitious enterprise data platforms in the automotive industry.
- Modern, serverless-first stack — AWS-native, no legacy bottlenecks.
- Collaborative Scrum culture — we plan together, review together, and improve together — every sprint.

Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Python for frontend and backend development. Comfortable with types, interfaces, generics, and modern libraries.
Backend & AWS Serverless
Practical experience building serverless applications on AWS — Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, or comparable services. Familiarity with the Serverless Framework or AWS CDK.
APIs
Solid understanding of REST API design principles. Experience with GraphQL — schema design, resolvers, queries, and mutations.
AWS CDK
Ability to define and deploy AWS infrastructure using AWS CDK. Comfortable working with stacks, constructs, and resource dependencies.
CI/CD
Experience setting up or maintaining GitHub Actions workflows for build, test, and deployment automation. Understands branching strategies and deployment gates.

Collaboration & Communication
Able to communicate clearly with teammates, product owners, and stakeholders. You document your work and raise blockers early.
