Full Stack Developer (Java, ReactJS)

What you do

  • Partner with Product Owners, business users, and SMEs to shape requirements into scalable technical solutions.

  • Design and develop microservices using Java technologies (Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Batch).

  • Build and enhance responsive, high-usable frontend applications using ReactJS and modern JavaScript.

  • Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, software engineers, QA engineers, Business Analysts, Scrum Masters, and Product Owners.

  • Deliver enhancements across wealth/trading application workflows in a microservices architecture.

  • Debug, troubleshoot, and provide production support for business-critical applications.

  • Implement automated testing and CI/CD practices to improve software quality and release efficiency.

  • Contribute to engineering excellence through code reviews, standards adoption, and occasional pair programming.

  • Proactively improve system performance, reliability, maintainability, and developer productivity.

Who you are

Must-have

  • 10+ years of hands-on software engineering experience in enterprise Java/J2EE applications.

  • Proven experience in Agile delivery and full SDLC execution.

  • Strong hands-on experience building and deploying microservices using Spring ecosystem technologies.

  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and related standards (JSON, Swagger/OpenAPI, XML).

  • Hands-on frontend experience with ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design.

  • Experience with React workflows/state management (e.g., Redux).

  • Experience with containerisation/orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

  • Experience with messaging/event-driven systems (MQ, Kafka).

  • Familiarity with engineering and DevOps toolchain (Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Liquibase).

  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

Preferred

  • Experience in wealth management, capital markets, and order management systems.

  • Domain exposure to products such as OTC, Bonds, Cash Equities, Funds, IPO, Loans, and Deposits.

  • Experience supporting front-to-back integration in investment/trading platforms.
