Debug, troubleshoot, and provide production support for business-critical applications.
Implement automated testing and CI/CD practices to improve software quality and release efficiency.
Contribute to engineering excellence through code reviews, standards adoption, and occasional pair programming.
Proactively improve system performance, reliability, maintainability, and developer productivity.
Who you are
Must-have
10+ years of hands-on software engineering experience in enterprise Java/J2EE applications.
Proven experience in Agile delivery and full SDLC execution.
Strong hands-on experience building and deploying microservices using Spring ecosystem technologies.
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and related standards (JSON, Swagger/OpenAPI, XML).
Hands-on frontend experience with ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design.
Experience with React workflows/state management (e.g., Redux).
Experience with containerisation/orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Experience with messaging/event-driven systems (MQ, Kafka).
Familiarity with engineering and DevOps toolchain (Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Liquibase).
Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving capabilities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
Preferred
Experience in wealth management, capital markets, and order management systems.
Domain exposure to products such as OTC, Bonds, Cash Equities, Funds, IPO, Loans, and Deposits.
