Position Summary

*The salary range for this position is between $67,500 - $72,500 per year depending on experience*
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage all day-to-day accounting operations including A/P, A/R, bank reconciliations, general ledger, and payroll.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting schedules in accordance with ASPE (Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises).
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Track and reconcile job costing and manufacturing-related expenses.
- Maintain accurate inventory and cost records within the ERP system.
- Manage and file sales tax and other regulatory filings as needed.
- Reconcile vendor statements and manage purchase order matching.
- Manage cash flow tracking and forecasting.
- Maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation tracking.
- Manage documentation for audits, budgets, and financial reviews in coordination with the CFO.
- Manage internal control processes and documentation.
- Manage the company’s banking relationship and accounts.
- Perform other bookkeeping and accounting duties as assigned.
Experience, Qualifications, and Skills
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or equivalent is required.
- 5-8 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Experience with ERP or MRP systems (e.g., Epicor, JobBOSS, SAP, IQMS).
- Solid understanding of full-cycle accounting and payroll processing.
- Job costing and inventory accounting experience strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software and Excel.
- Strong understanding of ASPE and standard accounting practices.
- High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
- Comfortable working independently and handling confidential information.
- Position available to Canadian Citizens or Canadian Permanent Residents ONLY.
