The Verkada Team is seeking a Fulfillment Specialist to join our Fulfillment team! We are looking for a self-starter to support our global Operations and Sales teams. This opportunity is an in-office position that requires an experienced individual with excellent communication skills to interact with both internal and external stakeholders, a keen eye for detail for problem-solving, and a can-do attitude!

Responsibilities

  • Process and manage product returns from customers globally
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams (e.g., Customer Support, Warehouse, Sales) and external stakeholders (e.g., Logistics Partners, Customers) to ensure smooth returns handling via email, phone, and in-person
  • Work with the larger operations (Global Operations, Supply Chain) team to support inbound and outbound shipments, escalations, and exceptions
  • Research and track the status of returns through the logistics systems
  • Analyze and report on returns metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Maintain accurate records of all return transactions
  • Assist in developing and implementing processes to improve the efficiency and accuracy of returns handling
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing return-related inquiries and issues promptly and professionally

Requirements:

  • +2 years minimum experience in a call center setting
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Experience with data entry and familiarity with troubleshooting and researching
  • Order entry experience in high volume environment
  • Proficient with both written and verbal communication (email, phone, in person). Knowledge of email etiquette is required
  • Great organizational skills with a customer service mindset
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Google Drive, and Mac OS
  • Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate insights
  • A self-starter who is excited about the opportunity to work at Verkada
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Must be able to successfully pass a background check 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in fulfillment, logistics, or a related field
  • Familiarity with returns processing and reverse logistics
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools
  • Netsuite and Salesforce experience

Pay Disclosure

At Verkada, we want to attract and retain the best employees, and compensate them in a way that appropriately and fairly values their individual contribution to the company. With that in mind, we carefully consider a number of factors to determine the appropriate starting pay for an employee, including their primary work location and an assessment of a candidate’s skills and experience, as well as market demands and internal parity. This estimate can vary based on the factors described above, so the actual starting annual base salary may be above or below this range. This estimate is also just one component of Verkada’s total rewards package. A Verkada employee may be eligible for additional forms of compensation, depending on their role, including sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and/or equity in the company in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
