About Tahoe Migration Execution Team

The primary purpose of the Tahoe Migration Execution team is to ensure that existing clients are successfully migrated to the new FPSL model within agreed timescales. The team ensures that migrations meet Fidelity quality, efficiency, and product definitions.

Purpose of your role

The successful candidate will be responsible for covering all aspects of transitioning existing schemes to the new FPSL model, consulting with the Project Manager and Team Leader on issues requiring additional attention or decision-making and for coordinating and executing all migration related activity to transition members to the FPSL model to an agreed timeline.

They will identify any operational issues as they arise and make recommendations to the Project Manager for any required changes. They will also be pro-active in determining any other needs or concerns of the client and Operations department and act on them accordingly.

Your key accountabilities

  • Complete money movement on member accounts.
  • Reconcile member positions post transition.
  • Manage timing of events and ensure all tasks are covered in a risk-controlled manner.
  • Communicate with Project Managers and other work streams to ensure team core tasks are captured and executed in time.
  • Develop, monitor, and update a project plan/task list throughout the Transition and corporate action process.
  • Consult with Project Manager or appropriate parties on issues requiring additional attention or decision-making.
  • Managing change initiatives and reviews within the team, gaining buy-in from key stakeholders and developing and managing practical strategies to achieve the best outcome
  • Provide quality control function to other members of the team.
  • Where required, support the team with meeting urgent deadlines and continually assess risks.
  • Act as a role model delivering strong results in the right way, build, develop and lead empowered and diverse teams; and motivate others with a vision for the future that can be implemented.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure obligations and standards are met.
  • Communicate effectively with all impacted Fidelity areas.
  • Have a good understanding of Fidelity systems and the downstream impact of activities taken during project
  • Consult with direct reporting Manager or appropriate parties on issues requiring additional attention or decision-making.
  • Establish and follow detailed on-going procedures for the administration of the plan with all impacted areas (Client Management, Financial Operations, Administration, Phone Team, Communications etc.)
  • Interact with the appropriate members of Admin and Financial Operations to ensure that all-proper controls are established.

  • Good education standard
  • Strong pension industry experience in Defined Contributions/Final Salary operations administration & implementation
  • Strong client facing experience including all communication methods
  • Good knowledge of retirement market
  • High Level of Microsoft Excel skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Self-starter, keen to take on responsibility and new projects
  • A can do attitude reflected in pro-active internal problem resolution
  • Be open to change
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Able to demonstrate abilities and experience in duties and responsibilities mentioned above
  • Ability to work well with various internal Fidelity departments at all levels
  • Ability to anticipate potential problems, plan for such events and problem solve
