We are seeking a Finance & Strategy Analyst to join our high-impact Finance Shared Services (FSS) team based in Manila, Philippines. The ideal candidate is a proactive and analytical finance professional with foundational experience in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting within a fast-paced, global environment. This role is essential for stabilizing core financial functions and providing reliable data to drive strategic decision-making across the organization.
What You'll Be Doing
Reporting to the Finance and Strategy Process Lead within Finance Shared Services, the core focus will be to execute and refine critical financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities.
Financial Data Management & Reporting: Extract, transform, and load (ETL) financial content from the primary Accounting System and Hyperion (including Plan, Budget, Actuals, Forecast, Headcount, and Capital Expenditures - CAPEX) to generate accurate, timely financial reports.
Variance Analysis & Interpretation: Systematically compare current and historical financial results against established budgets and forecasts, conducting in-depth variance analysis to interpret and articulate performance drivers and deviations to F&S stakeholders.
Budgeting Cycle Coordination: Coordinate and collaborate with various cross-functional departments in the preparation of individual budgets, providing hands-on assistance in the consolidation of the comprehensive corporate budget.
Executive Insight Preparation: Prepare and deliver high-quality, concise internal reports and presentations tailored for executive leadership to support strategic planning and crucial business decision-making processes.
Policy Adherence & Control Maintenance: Maintain comprehensive reports and reconciliations, ensuring strict adherence to company-established accounting and finance policies, robust internal processes, and critical financial controls.
Cross-Functional Partnership: Act as a key liaison, coordinating and communicating effectively with various internal stakeholders (Operations, Finance & Strategy, and all departments) regarding reporting dependencies and data requirements.
What You Bring to the Role
Required Qualifications and Skills
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related quantitative field.
Professional Experience: At least 2-4 years of progressive experience in an accounting, financial reporting, or FP&A role within a corporate environment.
Technical Accounting Acumen: Demonstrated proficiency and detailed knowledge of fundamental accounting principles necessary to accurately analyze and interpret financial reports.
Advanced Spreadsheet Skills: Intermediate to Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required, including expertise in functions such as VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and complex data manipulation.
Work Schedule Flexibility: The willingness and ability to work a night and/or shifting schedule is required to effectively support and align with global business requirements and North American Central Time zone operations.
Communication & Organization: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with strong organizational abilities and acute attention to detail.
Preferred Skills
Industry Experience: Direct experience within a Software as a Service (SaaS) company or a dedicated Financial Shared Services Center (SSC) environment.
ERP/EPM System Experience: Prior hands-on experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) systems such as NetSuite, Adaptive, and Coupa is highly preferred.
Growth Mindset: A demonstrable ability to flourish in a fast-paced, dynamic, and evolving organizational structure, showcasing strong multitasking capabilities and the flexibility to pivot quickly between competing priorities.

Hybrid: In this role, our hybrid experience is designed at the team level to give you a rich onsite experience packed with connection, collaboration, learning, and celebration - while also giving you flexibility to work remotely for part of the week. This role must attend our local office for part of the week. The specific in-office schedule is to be determined by the hiring manager.
