We have an opportunity for a dynamic and driven individual to join our Food Safety and Quality team in Northgate. This role will manage the Food Safety program on Site.

  • Lead the HACCP review process and update food safety plans.
  • Conduct internal audits and verify the effectiveness of corrective actions
  • Assist in ensuring the implementation & maintenance of pre-requisite programmes/support processes.
  • Ensure effective verification schedule compliance of food safety & quality activities
  • Investigate and report on management system failures, particularly with respect to raw materials and customer complaints.
  • Ensure compliance to SQF standard and other 3rd party Quality Assurance requirements.
  • Perform assigned tasks in accordance with all Kraft Heinz Food Safety, Environmental, Health and Safety, and Ethical and Human Resources policies, programs and goals.
  • Uphold the Kraft Heinz values and to work in a way that contributes to the company's vision


Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in food science, technology or related discipline
  • Experience in HACCP based food safety plans and accredited quality management systems (e.g. ISO, MSQA, MPI-NZ, BRC, SQF, WQA, etc.)
  • Minimum two years' experience in a food manufacturing role
  • Experience with Internal / External Audits
  • High level of communication skills, both written and oral including MS office skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment to resolve problems or improve systems
  • Ability to be analytical when assessing products against specific requirements
