Serve as a Senior Foreign Systems Interface (FSI) Consultant responsible for monitoring and support of Oracle Health Millennium and third-party systems. This role ensures reliable data exchange, supports cross-platform workflows, and strengthens interoperability through advanced technical leadership, solution design, and collaboration across vendors and client teams.
- Lead advanced design, build, and optimization of interfaces supporting clinical, operational, and financial workflows.
- Interpret business and workflow requirements and translate them into detailed technical interface specifications.
- Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize interfaces using Cerner Open Engine, Cloverleaf, Rhapsody, CorePoint, or Mirth.
- Develop and maintain HL7 v2, FHIR, APIs, and secure file-based messaging solutions.
- Support high‑complexity integration testing, data mapping, validation, and readiness planning.
- Collaborate with integration architects, vendor teams, and client stakeholders to ensure stable interoperability.
- Provide escalation support for high‑priority issues, performing root‑cause analysis and performance tuning.
- Maintain interface documentation, data mapping guides, workflow diagrams, and configuration details.
- Mentor junior FSI consultants and contribute to standardization, governance, and best practices.
- Minimum of 7 years combined related work experience, including:
- At least 4 years of experience in healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting or other client-facing IT roles
- An additional 3 years of work experience directly related to the duties of the job
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Knowledge and experience with Oracle Health/Cerner open engine
- Experience with HL7 v2 messaging (ADT, ORM/ORU, DFT, SIU, MDM, VXU)
- Ability to direct or configure integration tooling (Cerner Open Engine, Cloverleaf, Rhapsody, Corepoint, Mirth/NextGen Connect)
- Ability to architect integrations that support end-to-end workflows
- Ability to own and manage integration reference architecture
- Experience with file-based exchange (SFTP)
- Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate complex information to operations, financial, and application teams
COMPENSATION
The salary range for this position is $120-150K. Specific offers take into account a candidate’s education, experience and skills, as well as the candidate’s work location and internal equity. This position is also eligible for health insurance, 401k and bonus opportunity.
