The Role

Frontline Logistics Coordinator is responsible for ensuring on-time and cost-efficient availability of the material and installation tools. S/he is in charge of coordinating the daily activity of local logistics providers. Frontline Logistics Coordinator provides support and information to technicians, supervisors and project managers.

Job Description :

  • Plans and organizes transport of material from DC to FL. He/she also handles the customs/broker related information management.
  • Review and process import transactions and documentation
  • Ensure that all imports are in compliance with applicable international and national regulations and laws
  • Plans and orders delivery of materials from local warehouse to site.
  • Coordinates Logistics execution with locally outsourced logistics provider if applicable.
  • Manages the consolidation of local materials for site delivery.
  • Coordinates site delivery of installation tools.
  • Orders transportation or additional services from logistics providers as requested
  • Monitor shipments, provide updates to relevant stakeholders and ensure delivery timeline can meet the customer expectation.
  • Reviews invoices/PO differences and clarifies these and manages the correct posting of logistics cost to cost categories and projects
  • Optimize scheduling according to project readiness and logistics capacity
  • Coordinating with stakeholder to ensure that products are shipped on time and within budget
  • Collaborate with stakeholder to identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies

Requirements:

  • Basic business and supply chain education (e.g. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent)
  • Basic understanding of delivery process management and shipping related terminology, contract, legislation
  • Understanding of export and import is MUST.
  • Preferable to have PPJK certification or have experience in forwarder and custom clearance process.
  • Candidate should be self-starter, proactive with good management skills, willing to learn, and analytical, aggressive and strong willing to help behavior
  • Fluent English skills
  • MS Office tools and ERP usage skills
  • Minimum 2-year experience in logistics management or comparable activities
  • Ability to multitask under minimum supervision condition
