The Frontline Leader in the Warehouse will manage a small team of associates in our Warehouse and will be responsible for the timely movement of inventory, materials and products.  Frontline Leaders have a direct impact on our Associates and our business through:

Key Responsibilities:   

  • Train, coach, and develop team members to improve performance, safety, and engagement
  • Monitor workflow and staffing to meet productivity and service level targets
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as needed; serve as a hands-on resource for the team
  • Investigate discrepancies, resolve inventory issues, and coordinate cross-functionally as needed

Continuous Improvement: 

  • Safety: Foster a culture of safety by completing safety incident reports, holding others accountable to safety protocols, and providing mentorship to safety champions.
  • Quality:  Support a quality culture and established quality standards.  Understand the Red Tag process, quarantine process, and participating in root cause analysis.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to processes and associate performance to ensure that processes are picking, packaging, shipping/receiving runs effectively and efficiently
  • Communication:  Ensure others are informed of day-to-day operations, delivery metrics, customer demands, or obstacles/challenges that the team are faced with.

Required Qualifications:

  • 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or GED
  • Proven leadership abilities with 3-5 years of experience (Team Lead, Supervisor, or similar role) in a warehouse, logistics, or materials management environment
  • Hands-on experience with receiving processes, including system entry, and discrepancy resolution
  • Forklift experience required (certification preferred or ability to obtain quickly)
  • Strong working knowledge of inventory control practices and warehouse operations
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, drive accountability, and improve performance
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically active environment
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Forklift certification (or recent practical experience operating various equipment)
  • Experience with ERP/WMS systems
  • Lean, 5S, or continuous improvement experience
  • Experience in manufacturing or high-volume distribution environments

$29.47-$49.09 HourlyThis is the base pay range that an applicant can expect to make upon hire. Pay within this range will vary based upon relevant experience, skills, and education among other factors.
