- Phase 2 - Local Assessment
- Once your application has been reviewed and approved, you will be sent instructions on next steps. Sometimes, this comes in the form of a second questionnaire provided by your local organization; sometimes, your local supervisor(s) may reach out to conduct an interview.
- Phase 3 - Provisional Acceptance
- The local organization will inform Reliant of the decision to move forward with onboarding.
- You will register for support-raising training run by Reliant to take the next steps toward support-based ministry.
Skills Required
- Commit to leadership development through meetings, readings, and discussions
- Support and uphold the mission, vision, and values of Frontline Church
- Pursue and maintain a healthy personal devotion to Jesus
- Attend weekly staff meeting, direct report meetings, and assigned ministry meetings (Tuesdays)
- Be available for scheduled ministry hours: Tuesday (8 hrs), Wednesday (2 hrs), Thursday (4 hrs), Sunday (6 hrs)
- Participate in theological development including reading assignments and table discussions
- Engage in weekly check-ins with intern director and meet pastoral team members twice during internship
- Perform hands-on work in assigned ministry areas and assist in Sunday service ministry participation
- Complete application phases and register for support-raising training as instructed
What We Do
Reliant Mission partners with churches and nonprofits to support employed ministry programs, focusing on the development of character, skills, and doctrine. They provide participants with applicant assessment, support raising training, coaching, and employment-related guidance, while managing the salary and benefits for those in their short-term or two-year residency and internship programs.
