Frontend Software Engineer

Job Description:

Overview
Seeking a part-time Frontend Software Engineer to support development of modern web applications. This role is ideal for an entry- to mid-level engineer looking to grow while contributing to production software used in a fast-paced environment. The engineer will work closely with senior developers to implement features, improve UI/UX, and maintain high-quality code standards.

• Develop, test, and maintain frontend features using Angular and TypeScript.

• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to translate requirements into clean, efficient user interfaces.

• Implement reusable components, services, and modules following established architecture patterns.

• Participate in code reviews, adhere to version-control workflows, and follow best practices using Git.

• Build, test, and deploy applications using Docker-based development environments.

• Contribute to maintaining high-quality engineering practices, including documentation, testing, and CI/CD support.

• Troubleshoot issues and participate in ongoing improvements to performance, usability, and maintainability.

• Previous experience in frontend or full-stack software development (internship okay)

• Proficiency with Angular (v10+) and TypeScript.

• Experience with Git, branching workflows, and pull request processes.

• Familiarity with Docker for development or deployment workflows.

• Understanding of general software engineering principles, including testing, code quality, and system design fundamentals.

• Ability to work independently, manage tasks, and communicate clearly in a collaborative environment.

• Experience integrating REST APIs.

• English and Spanish (Fluent) C1.

• Previous experience in the solar, renewable energy, or related industries.

• Exposure to UX/UI best practices or design systems.

• Familiarity with Agile or iterative development methodologies.
