A Day in the LifeAt Medtronic Endoscopy, we aim to improve patient outcomes by empowering every gastroenterologist across the globe with artificial intelligence and disruptive therapeutic technologies. We have an exciting opportunity to continue strengthening our product development pipeline with a new opening – Senior R&D (research and development) Project Management Specialist. You will be part of a collaborative cross-functional team and will be responsible for R&D project management aspects of a high priority product innovation program.
The Endoscopy Operating Unit has created a business out of disrupting the status quo in the detection, prevention, and treatment of gastrointestinal cancers and chronic diseases. We’ve done this by commercializing transformational technologies that improve patient management and standards of care, while increasing access to our innovations across the globe.
In this role, you will be working with our PillCam™ Cloud Reader Software, a cutting-edge technology that provides a secure platform for uploading PillCam™ SB 3 capsule studies to a cloud-based environment for remote reading, treatment recommendations, and report creation.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Develop and implement user-friendly web interfaces using React for example, ensuring responsive and high-performance applications.
- Translate UI/UX designs into functional front-end code, collaborating closely with designers to refine conceptsUpstaff
- Integrate with RESTful APIs to fetch and display data, ensuring seamless functionality and data flowUpstaff
- Enhance interactive features such as dynamic forms and real-time updates to meet user requirements and business objectivesUpstaff
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure application reliability and usability.
- Optimize application performance across various devices and platforms.
- Stay updated with emerging front-end technologies and best practices to continually improve development processes.
- Working according to software procedures, coding standouts and clean architectures rules.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Proven experience as a frontend Engineer for a minimum 3 years.
- Knowledge of coding and scripting in languages such as React.
- Experience with Proficiency HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or TypeScript
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in the healthcare or medical technology industry.
- Experience with state management libraries such as Redux or MobX
