Rhombus is looking for a Frontend Software Engineer who will focus on building the most complex features in the web/React project while managing the technical aspects of the cross-platform project (both web and mobile).
What You'll Do:
- Coordinate code sharing between web (React) and mobile (React Native) development
- Configure web build tools like Gatsby & Webpack
- Keep the frontend build running smoothly
- Maintain the frontend tests that run after the build and before release
- Review pull requests to maintain code quality
- Analyze react performance to keep the product snappy
- Choose the libraries (npm packages) that are best suited to this project, and plan migrations to new libraries when necessary
What We're Looking For:
- 5+ years of frontend (mostly web) development experience
- TypeScript & React mastery
- Git flow mastery branching, merging, and rebasing
- Great communication skills
- Ideally React Native experience as well
This is an onsite position based in Sacramento, CA. Candidates must be able to commute to the office 2-3 times a week.
Compensation
Base Salary: $120,000-$145,000
Additional forms of compensation, depending on the role, include sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and equity in the company. Individual pay is determined based on the candidate's primary work/hiring location and additional factors, such as skills and experience, and relevant education, certifications, or training. Further details about compensation for the role can be discussed during the interview process.
