Job Description

We are seeking a talented Frontend Software Engineer to join our investment advisory team in Makati, Philippines. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality, user-friendly web applications that support our investment advisory services.

• Design and implement responsive, intuitive user interfaces for our investment advisory platforms
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate frontend components with server-side logic
• Optimize application performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility
• Implement and maintain code quality standards, best practices, and coding guidelines
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes
• Stay up-to-date with emerging frontend technologies and industry trends
• Work closely with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and mockups into functional interfaces
• Troubleshoot and debug frontend issues to ensure smooth user experiences
• Contribute to the development of reusable code libraries and components
• Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning and retrospectives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in frontend development
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
• Knowledge of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services
• Experience with frontend build tools and package managers
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Experience working in an Agile development environment
• Knowledge of investment advisory concepts and financial markets (preferred)
• Previous work experience in the financial services or investment advisory sector (preferred)
