The C360 Flow teams build modernized front-end and back-end integrated solutions for Flow with Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud and AgentForce.
We're looking for a Front-end Engineer who is passionate about crafting phenomenal web applications. As a Front-end Engineer you’ll use your extensive knowledge of Typescript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to enhance and modernize the front-end for Marketing Cloud using Flow.

You will work with Data Cloud, Agent Force, real-time data streams, engineer for performance across browsers, and delight users by making the most modernized software we can imagine. You will collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, Engineering leadership, and Documentation specialists to specify, design, develop, test, and release innovative front-end implementations for our expanding user base.

You will work in a development environment that utilizes our groundbreaking suite of internal autonomous AI development tools that drive efficient developer productivity.
 

Responsibilities:

• Drive end to end features from design to delivery

• Implement and deliver high-quality features on time, meeting functional, performance, scalability and compliance requirements

• Partner with leadership and architects to define and scope engineering plans

• Write production ready, clean code with attention to reliability, performance and security that can be used by millions of users of our on-demand platform

• Operate the service as an owner through telemetry, monitoring and analytics

• Develop test strategies, designing automation frameworks, writing unit/functional tests to meet 80% code coverage and automation metrics

• Debug complex applications

• Adopt, embrace, and promote agile and test-driven practices with your peers

• Utilize internal AI developer productivity tools

• Triage bugs and respond to customer investigations

• An ideal candidate will:

• Have good analytical skills and learning agility

• Have the capacity to drill through software and sometimes hardware layers

Requirements:

• 5+ years of industry experience designing, and developing software with good computer science fundamentals

• 4+ years of experience writing client-side JavaScript, Typescript and React Framework

• Expertise in building complex layouts with CSS and HTML

• 2+ years of development experience in Java

• Strong design, implementation and testing skills including in Data Structures and Algorithms, Object-Oriented Programming and design patterns and the understanding of software architecture and multi tenant systems

• Experience in automated testing including unit and functional testing using Java, JUnit, JSUnit, Selenium, Jest, and/or Bento

• Excellent RDBMS concepts

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science or equivalent experience

Desired Requirements:

• Oracle experience is a plus

• Experience with WebRTC

• Experience investigating and improving JavaScript performance

• Experience with WebSockets, Local Storage, or ES6

• Experience designing web sites or applications

• Experience with cloud technologies

• Experience developing RESTful services

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $172,000 to $236,500.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
