Job OverviewAs a Frontend Engineer at CelerData, you’ll work closely with our platform and cloud teams to build and maintain the web experience for CelerData Cloud. You’ll collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver fast, scalable, and delightful user experiences for both SaaS Cloud products and content-driven websites.
- Design, develop, and maintain core front-end modules for CelerData’s SaaS Cloud products, ensuring top-notch performance and user experience.
- Participate in product and technical design discussions, translating ideas into efficient, maintainable front-end solutions.
- Build reusable components and scalable front-end architecture that accelerate team productivity.
- Optimize building pipelines, loading speed, and performance to ensure smooth, high-quality delivery.
- Collaborate closely with backend to define and improve front-end/backend interaction standards.
- Stay up to date with modern front-end technologies, proactively introducing new tools or frameworks to enhance the team’s efficiency and technical excellence.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility, responsive design, and accessibility across all products.
- 2–5 years of professional experience in front-end development.
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science or a related field, with solid software engineering fundamentals and experience in delivering at least one complete web project from 0 to 1.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3, and deep understanding of React, Vue, or other modern frameworks.
- Familiarity with TypeScript, building tools (Webpack, Vite), and modern CI/CD workflows.
- Understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and web performance optimization best practices.
- Familiarity with Git, code review processes, and collaborative development in agile teams.
- Good coding practices, debugging and troubleshooting skills, and effective communication and teamwork abilities; capable of managing work under moderate project pressure.
- Familiar with at least one AI-assisted coding tool or workflow (e.g., Cursor, Claude, GitHub Copilot, etc.) to enhance development efficiency.
- Experience with SaaS, analytics dashboards, or complex data visualization UIs.
- Knowledge of front-end testing tools (Cypress, Playwright, Jest).
- Experience working with CMS or documentation systems (Contentful, Strapi, Docusaurus).
- SEO optimization, performance monitoring, or internationalization (i18n) experience.
- Basic knowledge of Node.js, GraphQL, or serverless technologies.
