Role:

In this role, you’ll leverage your expertise in TypeScript, React, Redux, and Sagas to build and maintain our frontend codebase, ensuring it remains clean, scalable, and maintainable as we grow. You’ll collaborate closely with our product managers, designers, and backend engineers to bring Figma designs to life, optimizing for performance and security at every step.

We’re looking for someone who’s not only proficient in our frontend stack but also understands the broader technical architecture and the business impact of their work. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Maintain Frontend Codebase: Write clean, performant, and scalable code using TypeScript, React, Redux, and Sagas, ensuring maintainability and future scalability of the codebase.
  • Architectural Integration: Understand and contribute to the overall technical architecture, ensuring seamless integration between front-end components and backend services (APIs, databases, etc.).
  • UI Precision: Translate Figma designs into precise code, accounting for various UI states (hover, active, loading), cross-browser compatibility, and different modes (dark/light, mobile/desktop).
  • Performance Optimization: Implement performance optimization techniques to maintain a fast and responsive user interface, even as the codebase grows.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers, contributing to discussions and proactively addressing potential issues.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Expertise: 5+ years in Frontend development
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency in frontend technologies, particularly TypeScript, React, Redux, and Sagas. Familiarity with other modern frameworks/libraries is a plus.
  • Code Quality: Demonstrated ability to write clean, scalable, and maintainable code, with a focus on future scalability and performance.
  • Architectural Understanding: In-depth understanding of how frontend components integrate with backend services and the overall technical architecture.
  • Security Awareness: Strong understanding of security best practices, particularly in handling sensitive data and securing frontend applications.
  • Performance Optimization: Experience with performance optimization techniques to keep the frontend fast and responsive as the codebase scales.
  • UI/UX Precision: High attention to detail in matching code output to design specs, considering all UI states and cross-browser/device compatibility.
  • Business Acumen: Ability to grasp and align with the company’s business logic and strategic goals, contributing to UX and product discussions.
  • Communication and Independence: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work proactively, independently, and asynchronously in a fully remote environment.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable with context switching and adjusting to changes in priority, particularly in a fast-paced startup environment.
